President and Chief Executive Officer
Shannon Leistra is the President and Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Altria Group and the world's leading producer and marketer of smokeless tobacco. She is responsible for the day-to-day strategic direction of USSTC.
Shannon previously served as the General Manager of Nat Sherman. She also spent six years in the Marlboro Brand Organization, serving as Director of Marlboro Value and Total Equity Programs and Senior Brand Manager. Prior to that, Shannon served as National Sales Manager supporting the development of U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company's trade programs. She also spent time as part of the Field Sales Force when she joined the company in 2004.
Shannon is a Richmond native and a graduate of the University of Virginia. She is actively involved with organizations that support the empowerment of women through career development, and serves the Workforce Preparation Committee of the Capital Region Collaborative.
Vice President, Manufacturing
Ed Tucker was appointed Vice President of Manufacturing for U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company in February 2016. In this role, he is responsible for commercializing and manufacturing all smokeless tobacco products produced in our plants across Tennessee, Kentucky and Virginia. In addition, he is responsible for all lead market products and smokeless product development work at D-Pilot plant.
Ed began his career with Philip Morris USA in July 1980 as a Business Unit Leader at the Richmond Manufacturing Center. He has held numerous positions across Philip Morris USA to include: Plant Manager, Flavor Center, Richmond, VA; Director, Primary Processing, Louisville, KY; Director, Primary Processing, Cabarrus, NC; Director, Maintenance and Engineering, Cabarrus; Director, Cigarette Manufacturing, Cabarrus; Director, Planning and Project Management, Chrysalis Inc., Chesterfield, VA; Director, Product Commercialization, PM USA; Director of Plant Operations at York Manufacturing in Williamsburg, VA; and Director of Plant Operations in Nashville, TN.
Ed received a B.S. degree in Business Administration and Management from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1980 and later went on to receive his MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University.
