    We pay our employees well. In addition, most positions participate in a Pay for Performance (bonus) program. By the way, the cost of living in the Richmond area – where a large number of our employees live and work – is very favorable compared to most cities in the United States.  
    Now about your benefits…
    We offer an array of benefit plans and programs designed to meet your needs. We’ve got you covered, and then some.   
    • A Profit Sharing Plan where you can personally contribute up to 35% of your pay
    • After just 90 days of service the company will match you dollar for dollar on the first 3% of pay you contribute
    • After one year of service the Company will contribute from 13% to 17% of your pay, even if you do not contribute to the Plan
    • Medical coverage that begins 90 days after your start date 
    • Preventive health care covered in full in-network 
    • 90 day supply of generic prescriptions covered in full through mail order or select retail pharmacies
    • Dental coverage up to $2,000 annually
    • Orthodontia coverage paid at 50%, up to a $2,500 lifetime maximum 
    • Eye exams and lenses covered every 12 months, frames every 24 months
    • An optional Health Care Flexible Spending Account to cover eligible out-of-pocket health care expenses, such as deductibles, copays or coinsurance. In 2017, the limit is $ 2,550.
    • Business Travel Accident Insurance paid by the Company 
    • A Company-paid Temporary Disability Income Plan for disabilities lasting up to 6 months 
    • A Company-paid Long-Term Disability Plan for disabilities lasting longer than 6 months
    • Access to a personal Health Advocate to help you navigate the health care system. Your Advocate can help you find the best doctors, obtain second opinions, sort out billing issues, obtain approvals for certain services and get your questions answered.
    • An Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) to help you resolve personal problems which may occur. The EAP is available 24/7 and is a completely confidential and voluntary service to help employees through rough patches such as marital distress, family issues, financial problems, substance abuse, legal concerns and other personal problems. You can also use it to find dependent care, petsitting services and more. 
    • Life Insurance provided by the Company equal to approximately two times your base wage
    Beyond the Basics
    An array of services is available to help balance your personal and work life. Examples include:
    • An optional Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account to reimburse yourself on a pre-tax basis for child care or adult dependent care expenses that are necessary to allow you to work. You can contribute up to $5,000 annually.
    • Paid Vacation (your date of hire and years of service determine your eligibility)
    • 14 Paid Holidays annually (depending on your date of hire)
    • An Employment Development & Training Program
    • Scholarships for children of employees (ranging from $500 to $5,000 annually)
