Billy Gifford serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Philip Morris USA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Altria Group. He has held this position since January 2010. In his current role, Billy leads PM USA’s efforts to responsibly manufacture and market PM USA brands to adult tobacco consumers in a financially disciplined way. Most recently, he served as Vice President and Treasurer for Altria Group. In this role, Billy led various groups at Altria Client Services, which provides services to Altria Group and its family of companies including: Risk Management, Treasury Management, Benefits Investments, Corporate Finance and Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis. Since joining PM USA in 1994 as an accountant, Billy has held different leadership positions in the company’s Finance department in Richmond, Va., and New York City. This includes serving as Vice President and Controller, Finance Decision Support, as well as various roles within budgets and financial planning. Billy also previously served as Vice President, Market Information. Prior to PM USA, Billy worked at the public accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand, which currently is known as PricewaterhouseCoopers. Previous | Next
