Arts & Culture

For more than 50 years, Altria Group has been a strong supporter of both the visual and performing arts. We champion organizations that inspire and reflect the qualities we value in our business operations – creativity, diversity, excellence and innovation.

Altria supports arts and cultural initiatives primarily in Richmond, Va., and Washington, D.C. Our arts and culture grants are focused on:

  • innovative programs to develop new audiences and increase access to the arts;
  • major sponsorships that bring thought-provoking, world-class cultural experiences to our communities; and
  • arts education programs that enhance the overall performance and development of middle school students, primarily in the public schools of the greater Richmond, Va. area.
