Web-based Training

Altria Group and its companies use a library of web-based training modules as an effective way to reach large numbers of employees. These training modules offer employees an opportunity to experience and react to complex compliance situations similar to those they may face in their work.

For example, web-based training about the Code contains real-life, on-the-job scenarios. Web training is designed to be engaging, interactive, thought-provoking, and informative.

Various web-based training courses are available to increase awareness about specific risks, along with broad compliance and integrity topic areas. Mandatory training courses are distributed to employees based on an employee's role, responsibilities and function within his or her organization. These courses complement and support other training programs, including live training that provides more depth and help to enhance employees' understanding of their obligations under the Code.

Compliance Institute

The Compliance Institute is an in-house training center dedicated to promoting the education of our companies' employees on their compliance obligations. The Institute develops and delivers interactive training, both web-based and in classroom settings, that explores real-life compliance scenarios.
