Altria Group and its companies are committed to reducing our environmental impact and promoting the sustainability of natural resources on which we depend.

Currently, we support many organizations that focus on:

• Sustainable agriculture and land conservation
• Watershed stewardship
• Environmental trash cleanup and litter prevention

Philip Morris USA, an Altria company, supports efforts that help reduce cigarette butt litter. This effort includes its longstanding partnership with Keep America Beautiful and the Cigarette Litter Prevention Program.

Altria and its operating companies' environment-related grants totaled $3.3 million in 2008.
