Altria Volunteers

The Altria family of companies fosters an environment that supports our employees as they work together to contribute their time, energy and talents to communities. On a regular basis, the employees of Altria's family of companies are personally involved in community service projects in company sponsored “Days of Sharing.” 

Examples of our employees' work in the community include:

• Back-to-school shopping for underserved youth with the YMCA as part of their Bright Beginnings program
• Beautifying community centers to help create inviting environments for after school activities
• Coastal and inland waterways cleanups
  

In 2008, our employees volunteered more than 26,000 hours in company-sponsored projects in communities where they live, work, and do business.
