Matching Gifts

Many employees in the Altria family of companies give back to our communities through personal financial giving that is independent from the company.

Our Matching Gifts Program helps maximize the impact of employees' charitable giving through company-matched donations. Altria Group contributes up to $30,000 per year, per employee to match donations made by employees to eligible 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations in the United States.

In 2008, Altria matched more than $2.4 million contributed to national and local not-for-profit organizations by employees.
