Contributions and Community Involvement

Altria and its companies share a tradition of community involvement dating back over five decades. In the past 10 years, Altria and its companies have donated more than $1.4 billion dollars in cash and in-kind contributions to hundreds of diverse non-profit organizations that have enriched communities worldwide.

We embrace our role as a responsible, involved corporate citizen, and we direct our community investments in ways that support Altria's mission, goals, and core values. Our commitment to corporate citizenship is demonstrated by a collaborative, comprehensive approach that engages community leaders and organizations. This input is invaluable in our efforts to help develop solutions to key societal issues in our communities.

Grant applications and requests for proposals are by invitation only. We generally do not accept unsolicited funding requests.

Corporate Contributions Altria Group's corporate contributions programs align with our Mission and business goals to help positively impact the communities where we live and work. Today, our companies focus their giving in four key areas that align with our business goals: Arts and Culture, Education, Environment and Positive Youth Development.
