Heather Newman is the Chief Financial Officer for Altria Group. She previously served as Senior Vice President, Chief Strategy & Growth Officer, overseeing Corporate Development, International, Enterprise Strategy & Planning, New Growth Ventures and Altria’s Digital & Technology organization.

Since joining the Altria family of companies in 1999, Heather held numerous leadership roles including President and Chief Executive Officer of Philip Morris USA, where she led the company's efforts to responsibly manufacture and market its brands to adult tobacco consumers in a financially disciplined way and Vice President & General Manager, Marlboro.

Heather received her undergraduate business degree from Saint Joseph's University's Erivan K Haub School of Business and completed her M.B.A. with a concentration in Marketing at Saint Joseph's University in 2005. 

She serves on the Board of the Executive Advisory Council for the University of Richmond Robins School of Business and on the Board of Visitors for Saint Joseph's University.
