As you prepare for interviewing with the Altria family of companies, below is how to be successful throughout the interview process.
Generally, there are two stages to our interview process: (1) a phone screen interview; and (2) an on-site or virtual panel interview. Depending on the job you're applying for, you may also be asked to participate in a technical phone interview, job testing or presentation.
Our team wants to see you at your best and it will help if you’ve researched who Altria is and prepared some conversation points around your work experience and/or qualifications. If you’re the right fit for the job, a contingent offer may be extended and we’ll begin the background check and drug screen.

You'll receive a welcome email containing all the information you need to complete the onboarding process prior to the first day.

Online Assessment #1 (Un-proctored)
Our operations and maintenance jobs require employees to have several skills and abilities to perform safely and effectively on the job. Our assessment combines various types of questions, examples, and exercise to give us a sense of how well your capabilities align to this job role. The assessment will take approximately 45 minutes. Results are archived for 12 months.

Online Assessment #2 (Proctored)
Maintenance candidates who have successfully passed Assessment #1 may be invited to participate in the Job Knowledge Test based on hiring demands. The recruiter may contact you via email to invite you to complete the proctored assessment. The assessment will take approximately 45-60 minutes.
