Stakeholders expect us to clearly communicate where we’re focused and how we're doing. Our Responsibility Focus Areas are guided by our materiality assessment. Through our annual reporting we communicate our progress toward key metrics and update our disclosures to align with evolving expectations.
Altria's ESG Data Tables are designed to provide the most recent full-year data for key ESG metrics and a view of how that data is changing over time. View the most recent data and comparison to benchmark years for environmental and social long-term targets. We will update these tables periodically to communicate significant changes and will use this platform to continue sharing progress.
In 2021, we conducted workshops on the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) to explore specific climate change scenarios and potential impacts on our businesses in a comprehensive report. While our overall approach to the TCFD recommendations has remained the same following that report, we believe our index will provide timely updates to the more dynamic aspects, such as metrics and targets.
Our Low Carbon Transition Plan Index, along with our Target Reset & Net Zero Roadmap, outlines our strategy for aligning with the latest climate science, including our 2030 and 2050 targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative.
Altria responds annually to CDP's questionnaires. For our most recent submission in 2024 we received a B for Climate, B for Forests and A- for Water Security.
