
Human Rights, Ethics & Compliance
Guided by international principles and policies, Altria’s Human Rights Framework serves as the foundation for how we engage with all stakeholders in our value chain. The Altria Supplier Code of Conduct communicates our expectations, regulations, and standards related to non-discrimination, child labor, forced labor, freedom of association, workplace safety, bribery and environmental compliance.
Altria is also an affiliate member of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), a nonprofit industry coalition committed to supporting the rights and well-being of workers and communities worldwide affected by the global supply chain. As a member of the RBA, we agree to follow the RBA Code of Conduct which sets social, environmental and ethical industry standards and indicates our commitment to proper business conduct with our suppliers.
